Job summary

Omega Resource Group in Tewkesbury is seeking an Electronic Coil Assembler for a 12-month contract. The role focuses on high-precision assembly of coils and electronic sub-assemblies for aerospace usage. Training starts on a morning shift, then moves to the late shift (2pm–10pm) for the contract duration.

Strong dexterity, soldering and crimping skills are required, along with the ability to work well in a team. Prior electronics assembly experience is essential.

Responsibilities

• Perform manual and machining operations on electronic components including coils and wires.
• Coil winding, soldering, wire stripping, potting, fabrication, deburring and basic electrical testing.
• Remove sharp edges, smooth, size and remove contamination.
• Assist with other relevant tasks as required.

The Role -Assembler

An excellent opportunity has arisen for an Electronic Coil Assembler to join a prominent engineering business in Tewkesbury.

You'll need to be highly dexterous and ensure the high precision assembly of coils and electronic sub-assemblies for aerospace usage.

Full training will be provided on a morning shift, before moving onto a late shift for the duration of the contract.

Duties -Assembler

• Perform various manual and machining operations on a range of electronic components including coils and wires.
• Perform a range of electronic tasks including:
  • Coil winding
  • Soldering
  • Wire stripping
  • Potting
  • Fabrication
  • Deburring
  • Basic electrical testing
• As required, remove sharp edges, smooth, size and remove contamination.
• General assistant for other appropriate / relevant tasks.
