Job summary

Staffline is recruiting an Electronic Coil Assembler in Tewkesbury for a 12-month contract within a key engineering business. The role offers a late shift (2pm–10pm) after a morning training period and involves high-precision assembly of coils and electronic sub-assemblies for aerospace usage.

Montage duties include coil winding, soldering, wire stripping, potting, fabrication and deburring, plus basic electrical testing. You should be highly dexterous with strong teamwork skills.

Qualifications

• Electronic assembly experience required.
• High dexterity and manual precision essential.
• Soldering and crimping skills desirable.

Responsibilities

• Perform various manual and machining operations on coils and electronic components.
• Coil winding, soldering, wire stripping, potting, fabrication and deburring.
• Basic electrical testing and preparation of sub-assemblies.

The Role - Electronic Coil Assembler

An excellent opportunity has arisen for an Electronic Coil Assembler to join a prominent engineering business in Tewkesbury.

You’ll need to be highly dexterous and ensure the high precision assembly of coils and electronic sub-assemblies for aerospace usage.

Full training will be provided on a morning shift, before moving onto a late shift for the duration of the contract.

Duties - Electronic Coil Assembler

• Perform various manual and machining operations on a range of electronic components including coils and wires.
• Perform a range of electronic tasks including:
  • Coil winding
  • Soldering
  • Wire stripping
  • Potting
  • Fabrication
  • Deburring
  • Basic electrical testing
• As required, remove sharp edges, smooth, size and remove contamination.
• General assistant for other appropriate / relevant tasks.
