Job summary

Omega Resource Group in Tewkesbury is recruiting for an Electronic Coil Assembler on a 12-month contract. You will assemble coils and electronic sub-assemblies with high precision, starting on a morning shift and moving to a late shift (2pm–10pm) for the contract duration.

Training will be provided. The role requires dexterity, soldering/crimping skills, and teamwork to support aerospace-quality electronics assembly.

Qualifications

• Electronic coil assembly experience.
• Highly dexterous for high precision assembly of coils and electronic sub-assemblies.
• Soldering/crimping skills are required.
• Must be a strong team player.

Responsibilities

• Perform manual and machining operations on electronic components including coils and wires.
• Coil winding, soldering, wire stripping, potting, fabrication, deburring, and basic electrical testing.
• Remove sharp edges, smooth surfaces, size, and remove contamination as required.
• Assist with other related tasks as needed.

The Role - Electronic Coil Assembler

An excellent opportunity has arisen for an Electronic Coil Assembler to join a prominent engineering business in Tewkesbury.

You'll need to be highly dexterous and ensure the high precision assembly of coils and electronic sub-assemblies for aerospace usage.

Full training will be provided on a morning shift, before moving onto a late shift for the duration of the contract.

Duties - Electronic Coil Assembler

• Perform various manual and machining operations on a range of electronic components including coils and wires.


• Perform a range of electronic tasks including:




• Coil winding


• Soldering


• Wire stripping


• Potting


• Fabrication


• Deburring


• Basic electrical testing




• As required, remove sharp edges, smooth, size and remove contamination.


• General assistant for other appropriate / relevant tasks.
