Job summary

Staffline is seeking an Electronic Coil Assembler for a 12-month contract in Tewkesbury. You will work on high-precision coil and electronic sub-assemblies for aerospace, starting on a morning shift before moving to a late shift.

You must have electronic assembly experience and strong dexterity. Duties include coil winding, soldering, wire stripping, potting, fabrication, deburring and basic electrical testing, plus general support for related tasks as required.

Qualifications

• Electronic assembly experience required.
• High dexterity and precision in assembly.
• Soldering/crimping skills required.
• Good teamwork and communication essential.

Responsibilities

• Perform manual and machining operations on electronic components including coils and wires.
• Coil winding, soldering, wire stripping, potting, fabrication, deburring and basic electrical testing.
• Remove sharp edges, smooth, size and remove contamination as needed.
• Assist with other relevant tasks as required.

The Role - Electronic Coil Assembler

An excellent opportunity has arisen for an Electronic Coil Assembler to join a prominent engineering business in Tewkesbury.

You'll need to be highly dexterous and ensure the high precision assembly of coils and electronic sub-assemblies for aerospace usage.

Full training will be provided on a morning shift, before moving onto a late shift for the duration of the contract.

Duties - Electronic Coil Assembler

• Perform various manual and machining operations on a range of electronic components including coils and wires.
• Perform a range of electronic tasks including:
• Coil winding
• Soldering
• Wire stripping
• Potting
• Fabrication
• Deburring
• Basic electrical testing
• As required, remove sharp edges, smooth, size and remove contamination.
• General assistant for other appropriate / relevant tasks.
