Job summary

Prezzo Italian in the UK is seeking a dedicated Sous Chef to support the Head Chef and run shifts, maintaining high standards across all sections. You will lead by example and help develop the chefs of tomorrow while ensuring dishes are prepared fresh and plated to spec.

You'll work closely with Front of House to deliver a consistent guest experience, and you will be positioned on a clear path to Head Chef within Brava Hospitality Group.

Qualifications

• Experience in a busy, high-volume kitchen with shift leadership.
• Strong knowledge of food safety and allergen handling.
• Ambition to progress to Head Chef and run your own kitchen.
• Ability to train and coach junior chefs.

Responsibilities

• Run the pass and lead shifts with confidence.
• Train and coach the team, helping develop the chefs of tomorrow.
• Step up and run the kitchen in your Head Chef's absence.
• Ensure dishes are prepared fresh, cooked properly and plated to spec.
• Work closely with front of house to deliver consistent guest experience.
• Manage ordering, stock, waste, and maintain audit-ready standards.
