Job summary

Dorset HealthCare is seeking enthusiastic CAMHS clinicians to join us as Community High Intensity CBT Practitioner Trainee, funded to complete a Postgraduate Diploma in Evidence-Based Psychological Treatment for Children and Young People (CBT Route). The role combines academic study with supervised clinical practice to deliver High Intensity CBT to children, young people and families.

Trainees will spend two days per week in university study and three days in CYPMH services across Dorset,

Qualifications

• Trainees will undertake a 12-month Postgraduate Diploma in Evidence-Based Psychological Treatment for Children and Young People (CBT Route).
• Willingness to work across CYPMH services in Dorset.
• BABCP Level 2 accreditation available on successful completion.

Responsibilities

• Deliver High Intensity CBT interventions for children and young people and their families.
• Spend two days per week in university teaching and three days in CYPMH services to develop a supervised clinical caseload.
