Job summary

Academics is seeking an Aspiring Educational Psychologist/SEN TA for a specialist school in Esher. You'll support children aged 7-17 with SEMH, MLD, and autism across small groups and 1:1 settings.

The role runs Monday to Friday, 08:30–15:30, term-time only, paid PAYE. On-site training and CPD are provided; you must have the right to work in the UK to apply, with DBS checks where appropriate.

Qualifications

• Must have right to work in the UK to apply.
• DBS checks may be required where appropriate.

Responsibilities

• Assist the class teacher with the learning experience.
• Provide dedicated support to pupils with learning, physical, sensory, or behavioural challenges.
• Build trusted relationships with pupils.
• 1:1 and small group support for pupils needing assistance.
• Follow safeguarding guidelines in the classroom.
• Maintain good communication with staff and pupils.
• Attend staff meetings and CPD as required.
• Be able to commute to Esher.
