Job summary

Aspiring Educational Psychologist/Learning Support Assistant role in Esher, Surrey. This position supports children with Special Needs (SEN, ASD, SEMH) in a special school environment.

You will work 1:1 and in small groups, planning activities with teachers, and helping students develop social and academic skills. The role offers on-site training and CPD, with a focus on safeguarding and professional growth.

Qualifications

• Willing to work 1:1 and in small groups with students.
• Able to plan learning activities to suit pupil ability with support from a teacher.
• Able to encourage the development of social skills and support students’ individual needs.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
• Right to work in the UK (no visa sponsorship).
• DBS enhanced (or overseas police checks) where appropriate.

Responsibilities

• Support students 1:1 and in small groups.
• Plan learning activities to suit pupil ability with teacher support.
• Encourage social skills development and address individual needs.
• Provide academic and pastoral support and monitor progress.
