Job summary

Academics in Esher, Surrey is seeking an Aspiring Child Psychologist/ Learning Support Assistant to support children with Special Needs. The role involves 5 days a week (Mon-Fri) on-site in Esher, with salary £93-£105 per day, dependent on skills and experience, and access to training and CPD.

You will work 1:1 and in small groups, collaborating with therapists and teachers to support pupils and develop social and learning skills. DBS enhanced checks are required.

Qualifications

• Willing to work 1:1 and in small groups with students.
• Able to plan learning activities with teacher support.
• Encourage social skills development and support individual needs.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
• Provide academic and pastoral support.
• Experience with young people with special needs is desirable but not essential.
