Job summary

Ribbons & Reeves in London seeks an Aspiring Educational Psychologist for a full-time, immediate-start role in Newham until July 2027. The school offers a supportive SEND environment and a chance to gain hands-on experience with pupils who have Autism, ADHD, SEMH and language needs.

You will work 1:1 and small groups under guidance, monitor progress, and collaborate with teachers and the SEND team to apply targeted strategies.

Qualifications

• Holds a 2:1 or above in Psychology or a related discipline from a leading UK university.
• Has previous child-centred experience through mentoring, tutoring, coaching or care-based work.
• Demonstrates excellent communication skills and emotional intelligence.
• Has a genuine interest in child development, SEND and psychological practice.

Responsibilities

• Provide 1:1 and small-group support for pupils with SEND, helping regulation and communication.
• Collaborate with teachers and the SEND team to implement individual support strategies.
• Monitor progress and build positive relationships with pupils requiring guidance throughout the day.
