Job summary

Ribbons & Reeves is seeking an Aspiring Educational Psychologist for an immediate, full-time post in Newham until July 2027. You will support pupils with SEND, focusing on emotional regulation, communication and learning, working closely with teachers and the inclusion team to deliver targeted interventions.

Ideal candidates are psychology graduates with strong interpersonal skills and a passion for child development.

Qualifications

• Psychology graduate with a 2:1 or above from a leading UK university.
• Experience in child-centred mentoring, tutoring, coaching or care-based work is preferred.
• Strong communication skills and emotional intelligence are essential.
• Genuine interest in child development, SEND and psychological practice.

Responsibilities

• Provide 1:1 and small-group support for pupils with SEND.
• Collaborate with teachers and SEND team to implement support strategies.
• Monitor progress and build positive relationships with pupils needing guidance.
• Support pupils to regulate emotions and improve communication and learning.
