Job summary

Toppesfield is seeking an Experienced Asphalt Supervisor to join our Operations Team in the UK. You will manage daily surfacing site operations, support Contracts Managers, and ensure delivery to programme and contract standards.

The successful candidate will have asphalt/road laying experience, relevant site qualifications, and strong communication skills. This role offers a full-time, permanent position with opportunities for progression and development.

Qualifications

• Experience managing on-site asphalt/road surfacing operations.
• Proven ability to plan works, brief teams, and monitor quality.

Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day site operations for surfacing projects.
• Develop work plans and programmes; place material orders.
• Communicate daily with crew via briefings and on-site presence.
• Supervise to meet contract specs and minimise remediations.
• Lead and motivate on-site teams and maintain client relationships.
• Ensure compliance with Health, Safety and Environmental policies.
