Job summary

NHS Greater Glasgow and Clyde is seeking a motivated registered Pharmacy Technician to join the Aseptic Unit at RHC, contributing to high-quality, safe pharmacy services for patients. You will be part of a skilled team delivering aseptic preparations and supporting clinical trials within a busy hospital setting.

Qualifications

• Registration with the General Pharmaceutical Council (GPhC) as a UK Registered Pharmacy Technician.
• Experience with aseptic unit procedures and handling of systemic anti-cancer therapy (SACT) is desirable.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to follow Standard Operating Procedures.

Responsibilities

• Carry out routine pharmacy technical activities within the aseptic unit including preparation of SACT for adults and paediatrics.
• Support training and supervision of pharmacy support workers.
• Provide efficient, patient-centred care and support.
