Job summary

NHS Greater Glasgow and Clyde (NHSGGC) seeks an experienced Pharmacy Technician Team Lead for the North Sector. You will support delivery of pharmacy services across Gartnavel General Hospital, the Beatson West of Scotland Cancer Centre and Vale of Leven Hospital, providing leadership and governance within a large pharmacy team.

The role focuses on workforce management, service performance and continuous improvement, with a commitment to staff development and patient-centred care within an NHS

Qualifications

• Registered Pharmacy Technician with the GPhC.
• HNC in pharmacy services or equivalent management qualification.
• Post-registration experience in pharmacy.
• Demonstrable leadership and team management skills.
• Good IT skills.

Responsibilities

• Maintain safe staffing levels across GGH and Vale of Leven pharmacy services.
• Ensure governance, medicines management, and Datix reporting compliance.
• Lead quality improvement projects and service transformation initiatives.
• Support recruitment, induction and retention of staff.
