Harrogate and District NHS Foundation Trust is seeking a motivated individual for Pharmacy Aseptic Services. The role involves preparing medicines in a clean room environment under GMP, assembling items for aseptic dispensing, and supporting ward needs.

After this role completes a comprehensive training programme, you will work with your team to prepare chemotherapy, adult TPN and antibiotics for patient administration, in a non-patient facing but essential function.

Qualifikationen

• Comprehensive training programme provided.
• Work in a clean room environment following GMP.
• Not patient facing but critical to patient care.

Aufgaben

• Assemble items for aseptic dispensing.
• Label and bag aseptic products for wards and clinics.
• Use equipment for preparation of aseptic products (e.g., isolators).
• Respond to urgent ward requests for aseptic products.
• Dispense drugs for in-patients and out-patients including cytotoxic chemotherapy.
• Provide aseptic products including CIVAS, paediatric and neonatal drugs, clinical trials and PN.
• Store aseptic drugs safely and correctly.
• Follow departmental Standard Operating Procedures.
