Job summary

A highly regarded school in Hounslow is seeking a caring, patient and dedicated ASD Teaching Assistant to join its team on a full-time basis, with an ASAP start. You will provide tailored support to pupils with autism, working closely with teachers and other staff to meet individual needs and help them access learning in a positive, structured and inclusive environment.

Qualifications

• Previous experience supporting pupils with ASD is highly desirable.
• Experience working within a school or specialist education setting.
• A patient, calm and empathetic approach.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to build positive relationships with pupils.
• Understanding of strategies that support pupils with autism and additional needs.
