Your new role
As a Teaching Assistant, you will work with a team to support pupils with PMLD and SLD to thrive in a nurturing environment. Hays Teaching Assistants make a positive impact on children and young people's lives, supporting diverse care needs and personalities. You will receive ongoing support from your Hays consultant, Hollie, throughout your placement and beyond.
What you need to succeed
You should have at least 1 year’s experience working with pupils with PMLD or SLD, preferably in an educational setting. Ability to adapt to students' needs across Key Stages, supporting communication and sensory needs, is essential. Confidence in integrating into a new school and building relationships with colleagues, pupils, and parents is also important.
