Axcis is working with a wonderful all-age special school in Solihull that has a strong community spirit and ethic. This school specializes in supporting children and young people with complex Autism, catering to ages 4 to 19, and tailoring its provision to individual needs.
The school requires a Teaching Assistant to work on a 1:1 or small group basis with children in the Early Years and Primary departments. The ideal candidate will need high resilience and dedication, as consistency is crucial for children with SEND, especially at such young developmental stages.
This is a full-time role supporting small groups and individual children, with an immediate start and ongoing employment until the end of the academic year, with a high likelihood of extension into the next academic year. The role involves working independently and as part of a team, following directions from teachers, and implementing planning effectively.
