Job summary

Unique School Solutions are seeking Autism (ASD) specialist Teaching Assistants for a specialist school in Rotherham (S63). You will support pupils aged 5-19 with ASD and PDA across primary and secondary units, starting ASAP.

The role is temporary with potential to become permanent after 12 weeks for the right candidate; pay via PAYE with in-house payroll and access to 30+ training courses.

Qualifications

• Recent experience working with children or adults with ASD and/or PDA in school/residential/social care settings within the last 2 years.

Responsibilities

• Support students with ASD/PDA in primary and secondary units across the school.
• Work under the direction of the class teacher and use own initiative.
• Help maintain a positive, safe learning environment and follow safeguarding procedures.
