Job summary

Prospero Teaching are recruiting for 2 ASD Specialists to join a specialist SEN School in Dudley. You will support pupils with EHCPs for Autism and complex needs, helping them access learning and develop communication and independence.

The ideal candidate will be patient, empathetic and resilient, with experience supporting children or young people with ASD. This full-time role is based in Dudley and offers opportunities to work closely with teachers and families.

Qualifications

• Experience supporting children with ASD and/or complex needs is desirable.
• Ability to work effectively within a SEN setting and with families.

Responsibilities

• Provide 1:1 and small-group support to pupils with ASD and complex needs.
• Implement individualised support strategies in line with EHCPs.
• Support communication, emotional regulation, behaviour and social development.
• Work collaboratively with teachers, SEN staff, families and external professionals.
• Help create a safe, inclusive and nurturing learning environment.
• Promote pupils' independence, well-being and engagement in learning.
• Working Full-time, 5 days a week.
