Job summary

Axcis Education Recruitment is seeking a confident Primary Teacher to support pupils with ASD in a mainstream primary school in West Molesey. This supply role offers ongoing opportunities with the potential for longer-term placements.

You will deliver differentiated lessons, adapt approaches for individual needs, and work with Teaching Assistants to support academic, social and emotional development. QTS and UK primary experience are required; Google Classroom is desirable.

Qualifications

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
• Experience teaching within a UK primary school.
• Experience supporting pupils with SEND/ASD desirable.
• Good knowledge of the Primary National Curriculum.
• Strong classroom and behaviour management skills.
• Ability to differentiate and adapt teaching to meet individual needs.

Primary Teacher - Supply | ASD Base | West Molesey

Location: West Molesey, Surrey

Start Date: ASAP

Work Type: Supply, with ongoing opportunities

Hours: 8:15am-3:15/30pm, Monday-Friday, Term Time Only

Pay: Paid to scale

We are recruiting for a Primary Teacher to work on a supply basis within an ASD base at a mainstream primary school in West Molesey.

The school is looking for a confident and adaptable teacher who can support pupils with Autism/ASD and a range of individual learning needs.

The role is available to start ASAP, with the opportunity for ongoing supply work and the potential for a longer-term placement for the right teacher.

This would suit a qualified teacher with previous experience supporting pupils with SEND, particularly Autism/ASD.

The school is also open to teachers with a strong mainstream primary background who are confident adapting their teaching to meet individual needs.

The Role

Requirements

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent
• Previous experience teaching within a UK primary school
• Experience supporting pupils with SEND/ASD is desirable

• Ability to differentiate and adapt teaching to meet individual needs
• Calm, patient and adaptable approach
• Strong communication and organisational skills
• Confidence using Google Classroom, or willingness to learn
• Reliable and professional approach
