Remedy Education seeks an ASD Teaching Assistant to join a Secondary SEN School in Greenwich. You will support a high needs ASD class of 6-10 pupils, many non-verbal, helping with communication, learning and daily independence.

The ideal candidate will have experience using Makaton, PECS or similar approaches, and will collaborate closely with the class teacher and two other TAs to provide consistent, individualized support across the school day.

Qualifications

• Experience supporting children with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD).
• Experience using Makaton, PECS or other communication/ASD approaches.

Responsabilités

• Support approximately 6-10 pupils with ASD in a high needs class.
• Assist with communication, learning, sensory regulation and daily independence.
• Work with the class teacher and two Teaching Assistants to provide consistent support.
