Penguin Recruitment Ltd is seeking an experienced Asbestos Surveyor for their Manchester team. You will deliver high-quality asbestos surveying services across a diverse client base, ensuring surveys comply with HSG264, current asbestos legislation, and company procedures.

The role offers autonomy with support from a structured technical and operational team, a varied workload, and clear opportunities for professional development.

Qualifications

• BOHS P402 qualification (essential).
• Previous experience working as an Asbestos Surveyor.
• Strong understanding of HSG264 and current asbestos legislation.
• Full UK driving licence.
• Strong communication and report-writing skills.
• Ability to manage a field-based workload independently.

Responsabilités

• Carrying out Management and Refurbishment & Demolition (R&D) asbestos surveys in accordance with HSG264
• Conducting bulk asbestos sampling across a range of property and site types
• Producing accurate, detailed, and compliant asbestos survey reports
• Working across commercial, industrial, healthcare, education, infrastructure, and public sector environments
• Managing your own diary and workload effectively
• Liaising professionally with clients, contractors, and site representatives
• Maintaining accurate electronic records and survey documentation
• Ensuring all work complies with current asbestos legislation, HSE guidance, and internal quality procedures
