Penguin Recruitment is delighted to be supporting a well-established asbestos consultancy in their search for an experienced Asbestos Surveyor to join their team covering Falkirk and the wider Central Belt. You will conduct surveys, sampling, and reporting, while ensuring compliance with current legislation and UKAS

Qualifications

• BOHS P402 qualification (or equivalent) is essential.
• Experience as an Asbestos Surveyor within a UKAS-accredited consultancy is required.
• Strong understanding of HSG264 and current asbestos legislation.

Responsibilities

• Carry out Management, Refurbishment & Demolition (R&D) asbestos surveys in accordance with HSG264.
• Conduct bulk asbestos sampling across a range of property types.
• Produce accurate and compliant asbestos survey reports.
• Work across commercial, industrial, and mixed-use properties.
• Manage your workload across multiple client sites.
• Liaise professionally with clients, contractors, and internal teams.
• Ensure all work complies with current asbestos legislation, HSE guidance, and UKAS procedures.

THE ROLE

As an Asbestos Surveyor, you will carry out asbestos surveys across a diverse portfolio of commercial, industrial, and mixed-use properties throughout the Central Belt.

Working independently and as part of an experienced team, you will deliver high-quality surveying services while ensuring full compliance with current legislation, HSE guidance, and UKAS procedures.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
