Penguin Recruitment is supporting a well-established UKAS-accredited asbestos consultancy in London to recruit an experienced Asbestos Surveyor. The role involves conducting Management and Refurbishment & Demolition surveys across commercial, healthcare, education, industrial and public sector properties.

You will work independently with support from an operations team, ensuring surveys comply with HSG264 and current asbestos legislation while delivering high-quality reports and maintaining

Qualifications

• Previous experience working as an Asbestos Surveyor.
• Strong understanding of HSG264 and current asbestos legislation.
• Experience within a UKAS-accredited consultancy is desirable.
• Full UK driving licence.
• Excellent communication, organisational, and report-writing skills.
• Professional, reliable and quality-focused approach to work.

Responsibilities

• Carry out Management and Refurbishment & Demolition (R&D) asbestos surveys in London.
• Conduct bulk asbestos sampling across various properties.
• Produce accurate and compliant asbestos survey reports.
• Manage workload and daily schedule across London.
• Liaise with clients, contractors and internal teams.
• Maintain accurate electronic records and survey documentation.
• Ensure compliance with current asbestos legislation and HSE guidance.

THE ROLE

As an Asbestos Surveyor, you will be responsible for carrying out Management and Refurbishment & Demolition (R&D) asbestos surveys across London.

Working independently with the support of an experienced operations team, the Asbestos Surveyor will ensure all surveys are completed to the highest standard while maintaining full compliance with HSG264, current asbestos legislation, HSE guidance, and UKAS procedures.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Carrying out Management and Refurbishment & Demolition (R&D) asbestos surveys in accordance with HSG264
• Conducting bulk asbestos sampling across a range of commercial, healthcare, education, industrial, and public sector properties
• Producing accurate and compliant asbestos survey reports
• Managing your own workload and daily schedule efficiently across London
• Liaising professionally with clients, contractors, and internal teams
• Maintaining accurate electronic records and survey documentation
• Ensuring all work complies with current asbestos legislation and HSE guidance

WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR
