Job summary

Lucion is hiring an Asbestos Surveyor to join our Hazardous Materials team covering Market Harborough, Leicestershire and surrounding areas. This is field-based, hands-on surveying, requiring accurate data collection, reporting and compliance with HSG264 and relevant legislation.

You’ll travel locally, work independently yet collaborate within a supportive team, using NexGen reporting and phablet data capture to deliver high-quality, compliant surveys for diverse client sites. DBS check applies.

Qualifications

• Hold BOHS P402, RSPH equivalent qualification, or a Certificate of Competence.
• Knowledge of HSG264 (The Survey Guide).
• Full UK manual driving licence is required.
• Based in or around Market Harborough, Leicestershire and willing to travel across Leicestershire and East Midlands.
• Flexible for occasional out-of-hours work and independent working within a team.

Responsibilities

• Carry out all disciplines of asbestos surveying and inspection (Management, Refurbishment, Demolition).
• Travel across Market Harborough and surrounding areas to client sites.
• Collect accurate site data using a phablet and produce high-quality reports via NexGen.
• Work in line with asbestos legislation including HSG264 and HSE requirements.
• Maintain personal QHSE documentation and internal assurance processes.
• Provide professional, friendly service and clear client guidance.
• Communicate effectively with clients, colleagues and contractors.
• Deliver accurate, consistent work without shortcuts.
