Job summary

Randstad CPE is seeking a qualified Asbestos Surveyor to join a compliant surveying practice in Guildford. You will conduct a full range of asbestos surveys across domestic, commercial, and industrial properties, provide specialist technical advice, and deliver accurate survey reporting.

The role requires BOHS P402, practical surveying experience, and a valid UK driving licence; DBS check will be completed.

Qualifications

• BOHS P402 qualification (or recognized equivalent).
• Solid practical experience in asbestos surveying across domestic, commercial, and/or industrial environments.
• Full UK driving licence.
• Note: The successful candidate will be subject to an enhanced DBS check and satisfactory references.

Responsibilities

• Conduct asbestos sampling, reinspections, and Management, Refurbishment, and Demolition surveys across domestic, commercial, and industrial properties in accordance with HSG264 guidelines and standard operating procedures.
• Collect site data and transport asbestos samples to UKAS-accredited testing facilities.
• Complete detailed survey reports and floor plan drawings using electronic survey software.
• Build and maintain client relationships, providing technical guidance and specialist advice.

Employment Type: Full-Time, Permanent

Salary: £32,000 - £45,000 base salary (exclusive of weekend working) On-Target Earnings (OTE): Up to £51,000 (including weekend overtime)

About the Role

We are seeking a qualified and experienced Asbestos Surveyor to join a leading compliance and surveying practice. In this role, you will conduct a full range of asbestos surveys across domestic, commercial, and industrial properties while supporting clients with specialist technical advice and accurate survey reporting.
