Job summary

Future Select Recruitment in Dudley, West Midlands, is seeking an Asbestos Surveyor/Consultant to join a private asbestos consultancy across the Midlands. You will conduct management, refurbishment and demolition surveys, gather ACM samples, and contribute to QA and reporting for clients.

The role requires BOHS P402 or RSPH, with P405 advantageous, plus strong knowledge of HSG 264 and UKAS guidelines. Excellent communication and IT literacy are essential for client-facing duties.

Qualifications

• Strong experience working as an Asbestos Surveyor / Consultant.
• Must hold the BOHS P402 or RSPH equivalent.
• Advantageous to hold the BOHS P405.
• Good working knowledge of HSG 264 and UKAS guidelines.
• Strong communication skills.
• Good literacy, numeracy and IT competencies.

Responsibilities

• Conduct detailed management, refurbishment and demolition asbestos surveys.
• Re-inspection surveys.
• Collecting ACM samples from site.
• Delivering samples to the laboratory for analysis.
• Performing auditing on surveyors, to ensure compliance and accuracy.
• Completing competency checks on teams, highlighting any areas of training.
• Producing detailed technical survey reports and schematic drawings.
• Supporting and training colleagues.
• Maintaining strong relationships with clients.

Job Title: Asbestos Surveyor / Consultant

Location: Dudley, West Midlands

Salary/Benefits: £27k - £43k + Training & Benefits

A privately-owned Asbestos Consultancy is recruiting for an Asbestos Surveyor to join their experienced team. They have a cluster of domestic, local authority and commercial contracts across the Midlands region. You will primarily be conducting management, refurbishment and demolition asbestos surveys, and performing some auditing and quality assurance duties when required. We are seeking someone with excellent technical knowledge, who is articulate and able to confidently communicate advice to clients.
