Job Title: Asbestos Surveyor / Analyst
Location: Slough, Berkshire
Salary/Benefits: 25k - 42k + Training & Benefits

Our client is seeking a knowledgeable Asbestos Surveyor / Analyst in the South East, to cover a mix of new commercial, public sector, industrial and domestic client sites in and around the M25. Candidates must be able to demonstrate strong hands-on experience as well as an excellent technical aptitude. For the successful candidate, they are offering excellent salaries and packages, in addition, they strive to provide comprehensive training to round-out applicants' skillsets.

The role will involve travel throughout:
Slough, Southall, Hounslow, Kingston upon Thames, Woking, Guildford, Maidenhead, Harrow, Wembley, Watford, Borehamwood, Enfield, Potters Bar, Hatfield, Epsom, Weybridge, Mitcham, Croydon, Bromley, Orpington, Sidcup, Erith, Dartford, Caterham, Redhill, Oxted, Sevenoaks, Rainham, Barking, Ilford, Romford, Hornchurch, Basildon.

Experience / Qualifications:

1. Must have a strong track record working as an Asbestos Surveyor / Analyst
2. Ideally will have worked within a UKAS accredited consultancy
3. Will be qualified with the BOHS P402, P403 & P404 (or RSPH equivalent)
4. Strong technical knowledge and understanding
5. Good literacy and numeracy skills
6. IT literate
7. Professional manner and good client-facing skills

The Role:

1. Undertaking Management, Refurbishment and Demolition Asbestos surveys
2. 4 Stage Clearances
3. Personal, leak, smoke, reassurance and background air testing
4. Maintaining industry and safety compliance across asbestos removals projects
5. Writing detailed reports, including schematic drawings
6. Travelling to client sites, attending regular meetings to establish their requirements and discuss project progress
7. Working to UKAS, HSG 264 & HSG 248 guidelines
8. Upholding high customer service levels
9. Travelling in accordance with company requirements
