Job summary

Penguin Recruitment are seeking a dual-qualified Asbestos Surveyor / Analyst to cover Cardiff and the South Wales region.

The role combines Management, Refurbishment and Demolition surveys with air monitoring and analytical reporting, ensuring compliance with HSG264 and HSG248 guidelines. The successful candidate will work across commercial properties with a structured diary and supportive team.

Qualifications

• BOHS P402, P403 & P404 qualifications (or equivalent).
• Experience working as an Asbestos Surveyor or Analyst, or in a dual role.
• Strong knowledge of asbestos legislation and compliance.
• Ability to manage workload independently.
• Full UK driving licence.

Responsibilities

• Conduct Management, Refurbishment, and Demolition Surveys in line with HSG264 guidance.
• Undertake air monitoring, four stage clearances, leak testing, smoke testing, and reassurance sampling in line with HSG248.
• Work across a range of commercial and mixed-use properties.
• Produce clear and compliant survey and analytical reports.
• Ensure all work is completed in line with current asbestos legislation and HSE guidance.
