Penguin Recruitment is supporting a well-established UKAS-accredited asbestos consultancy in Bristol, seeking an experienced Asbestos Surveyor to perform Management and Refurbishment & Demolition surveys across client sites in the Bristol area. You will work independently alongside an operations team to deliver high-quality surveys in a compliant manner with HSG264 and UK legislation.

Qualifications

• BOHS P402 qualification is essential.
• Strong understanding of HSG264 and current asbestos legislation.
• Excellent communication and report-writing skills.
• Full UK driving licence.

Responsibilities

• Carrying out Management and Refurbishment & Demolition (R&D) asbestos surveys in accordance with HSG264.
• Conducting bulk asbestos sampling across commercial, industrial, public sector, and residential properties.
• Producing accurate and compliant asbestos survey reports.
• Managing your own diary and workload efficiently.
• Liaising professionally with clients, contractors, and internal teams.
• Maintaining accurate records using electronic reporting systems.
• Ensuring all work complies with current asbestos legislation and HSE guidance.

Penguin Recruitment is delighted to be supporting a well-established UKAS-accredited asbestos consultancy in their search for an experienced Asbestos Surveyor to join their team in Bristol.

THE ROLE

As an Asbestos Surveyor, you will carry out Management and Refurbishment & Demolition (R&D) asbestos surveys across a diverse range of client sites throughout Bristol and the surrounding region.

Working independently and alongside an experienced operations team, the Asbestos Surveyor will ensure all work is completed to a high standard while maintaining compliance with HSG264, current legislation, and UKAS procedures.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
