Job summary

Future Select Limited is seeking an experienced Asbestos Removals Supervisor to oversee client contracts across the South West of England. You will manage a team of operatives, coordinate with clients, and ensure projects meet deadlines and safety standards.

The ideal candidate will hold an Asbestos Supervisor Ticket, CSCS card if possible, and demonstrate strong organisation, communication, and IT literacy. Willingness to travel across multiple sites is essential for this role.

Qualifications

• Hands-on experience as an Asbestos Removals Supervisor.
• Asbestos Supervisor Ticket is preferred.
• CSCS card is advantageous.
• Strong organisational and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Oversee asbestos removal projects of varying size.
• Manage project from start to finish.
• Ensure deadlines are adhered to.
• Order materials and hire/hire equipment as needed.
• Liaise with suppliers and subcontractors.
• Carry out competency checks on team members.
• Provide training and technical support to operatives.
• Complete relevant project documentation.
• Provide updates to clients and respond to queries.
• Maintain strong relationships with teams and clients.

Job description

A leading name within the Asbestos Removals industry is recruiting for an experienced Supervisor to oversee new client contracts. They are ideally seeking someone in the South West of England, who has strong experience across projects of varying size. Our client is a privately-owned outfit who have a strong reputation within the industry. The ideal candidate will be a strong communicator, who has a proven track record of managing teams of operatives, in addition to liaising with clients. For the successful candidate, our client can offer excellent day rates, in addition to comprehensive packages.

You will be travelling across: Bristol, Filton, Keynsham, Bath, Portishead, Clevedon, Weston-super-Mare, Bath, Trowbridge, Calne, Devizes, Swindon, Cirencester, Stroud, Dursley, Gloucester, Cheltenham, Witney, Oxford, Evesham, Ledbury, Lydney, Chepstow, Newport, Magnor, Cardiff, Abergavenny, Caerphilly, Hereford, Frome, Bridgwater, Glastonbury, Shepton Mallett.

Experience / Qualifications

• Hands-on experience working as an Asbestos Removals Supervisor
• Will ideally hold the Asbestos Supervisor Ticket
• It would be advantageous to hold a current CSCS card
• Strong organisational and communication skills
• Experience managing a team of operatives
• Good literacy, numeracy and IT skills
• Flexible to travel as per company needs

The Role

• Overseeing the successful completion of asbestos removal projects of varying size and nature
• Managing project from start to finish
• Ensuring deadlines are adhered to
• Ordering materials and hiring / off-hiring equipment
• Liaising with suppliers and subcontractors
• Carrying out competency checks on team members
• Providing training and technical support to operatives
• Completing relevant project documentation
• Providing updates directly to clients and answering any queries
• Maintaining strong working relationships among teams and with clients
