Job summary

Future Select Recruitment seeks an experienced Asbestos Removals Supervisor to oversee projects across the South West, including Bristol and surrounding towns. You will lead a team of operatives, liaise with clients, and ensure project deadlines are met, with strong emphasis on safety and regulatory compliance.

The role requires hands-on supervision, ticketing where possible, and willingness to travel across multiple locations to support client contracts.

Qualifications

• Hands-on experience as an Asbestos Removals Supervisor
• Must ideally hold the Asbestos Supervisor Ticket
• CSCS card desirable
• Strong organisational and communication skills
• Experience managing a team of operatives
• Good literacy, numeracy and IT skills
• Flexible to travel as per company needs

Responsibilities

• Overseeing completion of asbestos removal projects of varying size
• Manage projects from start to finish
• Ensure deadlines are met
• Order materials and hire/hire equipment as needed
• Liaise with suppliers and subcontractors
• Carry out competency checks on team members
• Provide training and technical support to operatives
• Complete project documentation
• Provide updates to clients and answer queries
• Maintain strong relationships with teams and clients

Job Title: Asbestos Removals Supervisor

Location: Bristol, Somerset

Salary/Benefits: 120 - 225 (Day Rate) + Training & Benefits

A leading name within the Asbestos Removals industry is recruiting for an experienced Supervisor to oversee new client contracts. They are ideally seeking someone in the South West of England, who has strong experience across projects of varying size. Our client is a privately-owned outfit who have a strong reputation within the industry. The ideal candidate will be a strong communicator, who has a proven track record of managing teams of operatives, in addition to liaising with clients. For the successful candidate, our client can offer excellent day rates, in addition to comprehensive packages.

You will be travelling across: Bristol, Filton, Keynsham, Bath, Portishead, Clevedon, Weston-super-Mare, Bath, Trowbridge, Calne, Devizes, Swindon, Cirencester, Stroud, Dursley, Gloucester, Cheltenham, Witney, Oxford, Evesham, Ledbury, Lydney, Chepstow, Newport, Magnor, Cardiff, Abergavenny, Caerphilly, Hereford, Frome, Bridgwater, Glastonbury, Shepton Mallett.

Experience / Qualifications:

• Hands-on experience working as an Asbestos Removals Supervisor
• Will ideally hold the Asbestos Supervisor Ticket
• It would be advantageous to hold a current CSCS card
• Strong organisational and communication skills
• Experience managing a team of operatives
• Good literacy, numeracy and IT skills
• Flexible to travel as per company needs

The Role:

• Ordering materials and hiring / off-hiring equipment
• Liaising with suppliers and subcontractors

• Providing updates directly to clients and answering any queries
• Maintaining strong working relationships among teams and with clients
