Job summary

Future Select Recruitment is seeking an Asbestos Project Manager to oversee domestic and commercial contracts in the Midlands, based in Coventry. You will lead projects from start to finish, coordinate site teams and liaise daily with clients, ensuring safety compliance and timely delivery.

The role requires BOHS P402/P403/P404 (or RSPH equivalents) and a strong track record in asbestos management, with flexibility to travel across the Midlands. A competitive package with benefits is on offer.

Qualifications

• Strong experience as an Asbestos Project Manager.
• Must hold BOHS P402, P403 and P404 (or RSPH equivalents).
• BOHS P405 would be advantageous but not essential.
• Strong knowledge of HSG 264 and HSG 248 guidelines.

Responsibilities

• Manage asbestos management and removal projects across domestic, commercial and local authority premises.

Our client is seeking a switched-on and hardworking Asbestos Project Manager to oversee domestic and commercial contracts in the Midlands region. The role is within a successful and multi-disciplined outfit, who have recently won new business. Applicants must hold industry-recognised qualifications, e.g. BOHS P402, P403 and P404 (or RSPH equivalents). You will be responsible for overseeing the successful completion of asbestos removal projects, in addition to liaising with site operatives and clients daily. We are seeking someone with strong communication skills, with a proven track record of success within the industry. Salaries are competitive and come alongside comprehensive benefits packages.

Experience / Qualifications:

• Strong experience working as an Asbestos Project Manager
• Must hold the BOHS P402, P403 and P404 (or RSPH equivalents) as a minimum
• Holding the BOHS P405 would be advantageous, but not essential
• Can demonstrate strong knowledge of HSG 264 and HSG 248 guidelines
• Flexible to travel in line with client requirements
• Comfortable leading teams of site staff
• Good literacy, numeracy and IT skill levels
• Adaptable to company travel needs

The Role:

• Managing asbestos management and removal projects of varying size, across domestic, commercial and local authority premises
• Work allocation to ensure adherence to set deadlines
• Conducting audits on completed works to ensure high quality service and compliance
• Completing competency checks on staff and leading training when needed
• Highlighting and reporting any non-conformities
• Running projects from start to finish, overseeing all aspects
• Acting as a key point of contact for clients, answering any queries
• Handling complaints and providing ongoing client support
• Liaising with the operations team to ensure smooth delivery of projects
• Maintaining and building strong working relationships with clients
• Travelling to client sites to work alongside colleagues
• Completing asbestos management, refurbishment, demolition and re-inspection asbestos surveys
• Performing ad-hoc 4 stage clearances, in addition to personal, smoke, leak, background and reassurance air testing
• Completing regular site documents and reports
• Carrying out site risk assessments prior to works commencing
