Future Select Recruitment is seeking an Asbestos Operations / Sales Manager for the South East region. You will manage daily operations within a UKAS accredited asbestos consultancy and drive service delivery.

The role requires strong leadership, client-facing skills, and a track record in growing contracts. You will quote for projects, develop RAMS, and support accreditation maintenance while leading office and site teams.

Qualifications

• Proven experience managing operations within a UKAS accredited asbestos consultancy.
• Industry-related BOHS or RPSH modules (P402/P403/P404/P405).
• Familiar with HSG 264, HSG 248 and UKAS guidelines.
• Confident managing office and site-based teams; strong client-facing skills.
• Ability to manage own workload and meet deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day operations of a busy UKAS asbestos consultancy.
• Ensure deadlines are met across projects.
• Drive growth by winning new business and upgrading contracts.
• Monitor staff performance and identify training needs.
• Recruit, interview and onboard new team members.
• Develop RAMS and method statements; manage larger remediation projects.
• Meet clients; conduct risk assessments for new contracts.
• Quote for projects and follow up opportunities.
• Support accreditation maintenance and staff audits.

Job Title: Asbestos Operations / Sales Manager

Location: South East

Salary/Benefits: £40k - £65k + Benefits & Commission

A successful Asbestos consultancy is seeking a commercially focused and switched on Asbestos Operations / Sales Manager who will integrate well into their UKAS accredited outfit. You will be responsible for managing daily operations, to ensure a smooth delivery of services, whilst supporting ongoing company growth; through generating client leads and promoting company services. We are seeking someone who is a confident communicator, who has a proven record of leading teams efficiently. You must have an established track record within the industry and will hold robust technical knowledge. Our client holds a strong presence across the South East of England and Midlands regions, and can consider candidates from both regions. Experience / Qualifications:

• Proven experience of managing operations within a UKAS accredited Asbestos Consultancy
• Will hold industry-related BOHS or RPSH modules (e.g. P402, P403, P404 and / or P405)
• Fully conversant in HSG 264, HSG 248 and UKAS guidelines
• Confident managing teams of office and site-based staff
• Able to manage own workload
• Excellent client-facing experience
• Good literacy, numeracy and IT skills

The Role:

• Managing day-to-day operations within a busy UKAS asbestos consultancy
• Ensuring deadlines are adhered to across the board
• Handling commercial growth and supporting ongoing company success
• Monitoring individual employee performance and highlighting any training requirements
• Partaking in the recruitment process, interviewing and on-boarding new team members
• Upgrading existing client contracts
• Identifying new client opporunities and following up any warm leads
• Meeting with prospective clients and conducting risk assessments for new contracts
• Quoting for new projects and contracts
• Training and supporting team members
• Developing RAMS and method statements
• Managing larger asbestos remediation projects
• Acting as a key point of contact for clients
• Actively supporting UKAS accreditation maintenance
• Auditing on staff and completed works
