Job summary

EDP Consultants Australia is seeking an experienced Asbestos Consultant to join our London/South UK team. You will deliver asbestos surveys, reinspections, bulk sampling and air monitoring.

You will advise clients on compliance and remediation, produce clear reports, maintain client relationships and support quality documentation. BOHS P-Certifications or equivalent and a minimum of 12 months UKAS‑accredited experience are required; a full UK driving licence and willingness to travel are

• Flexibility to work weekends/unsocial hours as needed.

Responsibilities

• Conduct asbestos surveys, reinspections, and bulk sampling.
• Perform air monitoring and issue Certificates of Re-occupation & Statements of Cleanliness.
• Advise clients on compliance, regulations, and remediation strategies.
• Produce clear, accurate reports and quality documentation.
• Maintain strong client relationships and ensure service excellence.

What You’ll Be Doing

• You’ll be working with national and local clients across sectors, delivering high‑quality asbestos consultancy services such as:
• Conducting asbestos surveys, reinspections, and bulk sampling
• Air monitoring and issuing Certificates of Re‑occupation & Statements of Cleanliness
• Advising clients on compliance, regulations, and remediation
• Producing clear, accurate reports and quality documentation
• Maintaining strong client relationships and ensuring service excellence

Who We’re Looking For

• Relevant BOHS P‑Certifications or Equivalent
• At least 12 months of UKAS‑accredited experience
• Full manual UK driving licence and willingness to travel
• Flexibility to work weekends/unsocial hours as needed
• Strong communication and organisational skills
• Comfortable using handheld devices and MS Office tools
