Penguin Recruitment represents a well-established UKAS-accredited asbestos consultancy in Leeds, recruiting an experienced Asbestos Surveyor / Analyst to support a busy workload across Leeds and Yorkshire.

The role covers management, refurbishment and demolition surveys, air monitoring, and reporting. You will hold BOHS P402/403/404, work independently, and contribute to high-quality client service. A competitive package awaits with progression opportunities.

Qualifications

BOHS P402, P403 & P404 (essential).
Experience as an Asbestos Surveyor / Analyst.
Strong report writing and communication skills.
Full UK driving licence.

Responsibilities

Carrying out Management, Refurbishment & Demolition (R&D) asbestos surveys in accordance with HSG264
Undertaking air monitoring, leak testing, reassurance testing, and 4-stage clearances in accordance with HSG248
Conducting bulk sampling and ensuring correct procedures are followed
Producing accurate and compliant asbestos survey and analytical reports
Working across commercial, industrial, education, healthcare, and public sector sites
Managing workload independently across Leeds and the wider Yorkshire region
Liaising professionally with clients, contractors, and site personnel
Ensuring all work complies with current legislation, HSE guidance, and company procedures
