Job summary

Randstad are partnering with a private equity-backed UK safety and compliance consultancy to appoint an experienced Asbestos Analyst across the North East. The role focuses on high-grade commercial properties and regional infrastructure, offering a quality-first environment with no repetitive domestic work.

Applicants will perform 4-stage clearances and site testing, liaise with LARCs, and generate digital air monitoring reports.

Qualifications

• BOHS P403 & P404 (or RSPH equivalent) required.
• Valid CSCS card and full UK driving licence.
• Experience working within a UKAS-accredited consultancy environment.

Responsibilities

• Perform 4-stage clearances, re-occupation testing, background sampling, and leak testing.
• Oversee site abatement schemes and liaise with LARCs and duty holders.
• Generate digital air monitoring reports and site schematics using handheld tablet software.
• Maintain UKAS accreditation standards, equipment calibration, and internal QA/QC schemes.
