New Directions Education is recruiting enthusiastic and adaptable Art Teachers to work across a range of secondary schools in Harrogate. The role offers flexibility for regular supply work, with opportunities for longer-term positions.

As an Art Teacher, you’ll inspire students through creative, practical learning while supporting schools with day-to-day staffing needs. DBS checks and compliance are required; full compliance with AWR is maintained by the agency.

Qualifications

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) is required.
• Experience teaching Art in a secondary setting.
• Strong classroom and behaviour management skills.
• Confident delivering lessons and managing classes independently.
• Flexible to provide general cover when needed.

Responsibilities

The Role
