New Directions Education is seeking enthusiastic Art Teachers to work across a range of secondary schools in the Harrogate area. You will deliver engaging Art lessons and be prepared to provide general cover when required, offering flexibility and variety in teaching opportunities.

Applicants should hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) and have experience teaching Art in secondary settings. Excellent communication, organisation and a positive, adaptable approach are essential to support pupils

Qualifications

• QTS required and experience teaching Art in a secondary school setting.
• Strong classroom and behaviour management skills.
• Ability to deliver engaging Art lessons and manage classes independently.

Responsibilities

• Plan and deliver engaging Art lessons across Key Stages 3 and 4.
• Encourage creativity, self-expression and artistic development.
• Assess and monitor student progress.
