Job summary

TeacherActive is collaborating with a mainstream Secondary School in Leeds to recruit an enthusiastic Art Teacher. The role offers day-to-day or long-term work with an immediate start, teaching across KS3/KS4 and supporting GCSE studies with potential A Level involvement.

The candidate should hold QTS with Art specialization, have experience teaching Art to KS3/KS4 and GCSE preparation, and ideally support A Level learners. Strong classroom management and clear communication are essential.

Job description

TeacherActive is proud to be working with a mainstream Secondary School based in Leeds, who are looking to appoint an Art Teacher. The school is looking for an enthusiastic and creative teacher who can engage students through practical and theory-based learning while promoting high standards within the classroom.

The school is looking to take on an Art Teacher for day-to-day or long-term work, with an Immediate Start. The successful Art Teacher will teach across KS3 or KS4 and support students with their GCSE studies, with experience supporting A Level students also highly desirable.

The successful Art Teacher will have:

• QTS with an Art specialism (ECTs are also welcomed to apply)
• Experience teaching Art across Key Stage 3 / KS3 or Key Stage 4 / KS4
• Experience supporting students with GCSE preparation
• A Level teaching or support experience is desirable
• Excellent classroom management
• Strong communication skills and an adaptable approach
