Job summary
Convelio in West Drayton, UK, is seeking an ambitious Operations Coordinator to join our growing team. You will manage shipments end-to-end, quote using pricing algorithms, book freight by road, air or sea, and liaise with customers and partners to ensure on-time delivery.
You will work closely with the Operations and Tech teams to optimize processes, handle quotes, and maintain strong customer relationships.
Qualifications
- At least 2 years experience in freight forwarding.
- Strong customer service orientation and ability to build relationships.
- Excellent verbal and written English communication.
- Detail-oriented with strong organisational skills.
- Comfortable handling quotes and working with numbers.
Responsibilities
- Manage incoming shipment requests and quotes using our pricing algorithm.
- Book shipments by courier, roadfreight, or airfreight and proactively inform customers of status.
- Coordinate with third-party suppliers (airlines, white glove agents) to meet KPIs.
- Prepare export customs entries and ensure correct documentation for artworks.
- Develop and maintain strong customer relationships and responsive service levels.
- Collaborate with Operations and Tech teams to troubleshoot issues and improve processes.
- Suggest improvements to operational workflows to drive efficiency.
