Job summary

BardWood Support Services is recruiting for Area Support Officers to work on-site at a Scunthorpe retail location. You will patrol premises, monitor access points, and respond to incidents with a calm, decisive approach, ensuring staff and visitor safety.

Qualifications

• SIA License is required.
• 5-year checkable work/career history is required.
• Experience in a similar role is advantageous.
• Physically fit to undertake tasks and work under pressure.

• Patrolling the Retail Store Premises.
• Investigating disturbances and monitoring entry/exit points.
• Calling for help in emergencies and operating theft-detecting devices.
• Building positive customer relations and handling large crowds.

Pay Rate – £12.71

Location – Scunthorpe Crown Buildings

Shift Timings – Must be fully flexible as per clients requirements

You will be working in a well-known retail store, which holds various stock. Officers are responsible for providing safety and security to both staff and visitors alike.

Your main responsibilities may include:

• Patrolling the Retail Store Premises.
• Investigating Disturbances, as well as monitoring the entry and exit points of the retail store.
• Confidently calling for help in emergency situations and operating theft-detecting devices.
• Effectively dealing with large crowds and building positive customer relations.

To succeed in this role, you will need the following:

• SIA License.
