BardWood Support Services is hiring Area Support Officers to safeguard a busy retail environment in Clevedon. You will patrol premises, monitor entry/exit points and respond quickly in emergencies.

The role requires an SIA Licence, a strong work history and the ability to stay composed under pressure. You will join a team focused on safety, customer service and reliable security operations.

Qualifications

• SIA license required.
• Minimum 5-year checkable work/career history.
• Experience in a similar security role is advantageous.
• Candidate must be physically fit to perform tasks.
• Able to work under pressure and maintain composure.

Responsibilities

• Patrol the Retail Store Premises.
• Investigate disturbances and monitor entry/exit points.
• Call for help in emergencies and operate theft-detecting devices.
• Build positive customer relations through professional conduct.

Shift Timings - Must be flexible as per clients requirements

You will be working in a well-known retail store, which holds various stock. Officers are responsible for providing safety and security to both staff and visitors alike.

Your main responsibilities may include:

• Patrolling the Retail Store Premises.
• Investigating Disturbances, as well as monitoring the entry and exit points of the retail store.
• Confidently calling for help in emergency situations and operating theft-detecting devices.
• Effectively dealing with large crowds and building positive customer relations.

To succeed in this role, you will need the following:

• SIA License.
• 5-year checkable work/career history.
• Experience in a similar role, would an advantage
• Physically fit to undertake given tasks.
