Job summary

BardWood Support Services is seeking a reliable Area Support Officer to patrol client premises and retail sites across Crewe and surrounding areas.

You must hold a valid SIA Door Supervisor license, be a driver with access to your own vehicle, and be willing to travel reasonable distances, including day and night shifts, weekends and unsociable hours.

This role offers ongoing site travel, a permanent transfer after probation, benefits listed on transfer, and an evolving family culture at BardWood.

Qualifications

• Must hold a valid SIA Door Supervisor (DS) licence.
• Must be a driver with access to their own vehicle.
• Must be willing to travel reasonable distances as required by the business.
• Must be willing to work within retail environments.
• 5-year checkable work/career history.
• Physically fit to undertake given tasks.
• Possess the ability to work under pressure.

Responsibilities

• Provide security support across various client premises and retail sites.
• Carry out regular patrols and maintain a strong security presence.
• Provide cover at different sites as required by the business.
• Monitor access and egress and respond to incidents appropriately.
• Communicate professionally with staff, visitors and clients.
• Complete accurate incident reports and follow ASCONE/SAFER procedures.
• Respond confidently to emergencies and travel between sites.
• Travel between sites and support other duties as required.

Pay Rate – £12.71

Location – Crewe

Shift Timings – Must be available to workboth day and night shifts, including weekends, and be willing to travel reasonable distances as required.
