Job summary

Bardwood Support Services is seeking an Area Support Officer for a York location. You will patrol the store, monitor entry/exit points, and respond to incidents to maintain safety and security.

Role requires an SIA license, a 5-year checkable work history, and the ability to work day/night shifts including weekends. 12-week client transfer with multiple benefits is included.

About the role

Title – Area Support Officer

Pay Rate – £ 12.71

Location – York

Shift Timings – Must be available to work both day and night shifts, including weekends and be willing to travel reasonable distance as required.

You will be working in a well-known retail store, which holds various stock. Officers are responsible for providing safety and security to both staff and visitors alike.

Your main responsibilities may include:

• Patrolling the Retail Store Premises.
• Investigating Disturbances, as well as monitoring the entry and exit points of the retail store.
• Confidently calling for help in emergency situations and operating theft-detecting devices.
• Effectively dealing with large crowds and building positive customer relations.
