Job summary

Bardwood Support Services is seeking an Area Support Officer in Sheffield to ensure safety and security across a busy retail site. You will patrol premises, monitor entry/exit points, and respond to incidents while maintaining professional customer relations.

Role requires shift flexibility, including nights and weekends, with potential travel between sites and a permanent role after a 12-week probation period.

Qualifications

• SIA license is required for the role.
• 5-year checkable work/career history.
• Experience in a similar security role is an advantage.
• Physically fit and able to work under pressure.
• Willing to work day and night shifts, including weekends.

• Confidently calling for help in emergencies and operating theft-detecting devices.

About the role

Title - Area Support Officer

Pay Rate - £ 12.71

Location - Sheffield

Shift Timings - Must be available to work both day and night shifts, including weekends and be willing to travel reasonable distance as required.

You will be working in a well-known retail store, which holds various stock. Officers are responsible for providing safety and security to both staff and visitors alike.
