BardWood is seeking an Area Support Officer to provide security across client premises and retail sites in Northampton. You will perform patrols, monitor access, and respond to incidents, ensuring professional communication with staff and visitors.

The role involves travel between sites and flexibility to cover various duties as required. Applicants must hold a valid SIA DS license, have their own vehicle, and be willing to travel.

Qualifications

• Must hold a valid SIA Door Supervisor (DS) licence.
• Must be a driver with access to own vehicle.
• Willing to travel reasonable distances as required by the business.
• Must be willing to work within retail environments.
• 5-year checkable work/career history.
• Physically fit to undertake given tasks.
• Possess the ability to work under pressure.

Responsibilities

• Provide security support across various client premises and retail sites.
• Carry out regular patrols and maintain a strong security presence.
• Provide cover at different sites as required by the business.
• Monitor access and egress and respond to incidents appropriately.
• Communicate professionally with staff, visitors and clients.
• Complete accurate incident reports and follow ASCONE/SAFER procedures.
• Respond confidently to emergencies and lift issues when required.
• Travel between sites and support other duties as required.

Title – Area support officer

Pay Rate – £12.71

Location – Northampton

Shift Timings – Must be available to work both day and night shifts, including weekends, and be willing to travel reasonable distances as required.
