Job summary

BardWood is seeking an Area Support Officer in Doncaster to join our security team. You will provide security across multiple client premises, perform regular patrols, and travel between sites as required by the business.

The role demands flexibility, reliability and the ability to work in varying retail environments. Successful candidates are expected to hold a valid SIA Door Supervisor licence, have a driver's license, and be willing to travel.

Qualifications

• Must be reliable, professional and flexible.
• Must hold a valid DS licence and have access to a vehicle.
• Must be willing to travel as required and work in retail environments.
• 5-year checkable work/career history and ability to work under pressure.

Responsibilities

• Provide security support across client premises and retail sites.
• Carry out regular patrols and maintain security presence.
• Cover different sites as needed by the business.
• Monitor access and egress and respond to incidents appropriately.
• Communicate professionally with staff, visitors and clients.
• Prepare incident reports and follow ASCONE/SAFER procedures.
• Respond to emergencies and escalated issues; travel between sites.

Title – Area support officer

Pay Rate – £12.71

Location – Doncaster

Shift Timings – Must be available to workboth day and night shifts, including weekends, and be willing to travel reasonable distances as required.

Your main responsibilities may include:

• Provide security support across various client premises and retail sites.
• Carry out regular patrols and maintain a strong security presence.
• Provide cover at different sites as required by the business.
• Monitor access and egress and respond to incidents appropriately.
• Communicate professionally with staff, visitors and clients.
• Complete accurate incident reports and follow ASCONE/SAFER procedures.
• Respond confidently to emergencies and escalated issues when required.
• Travel between sites and support other duties as required.

To succeed in this role, you will need the following:

• Must hold a valid SIA Door Supervisor (DS) licence.
• Must be a driver with access to their own vehicle.
• Must be willing to travel reasonable distances as required by the business.
• Must be willing to work within retail environments.
• Must be flexible and understand that they may also be assigned to other duties and contracts where required.
• 5-year checkable work/career history.
• Physically fit to undertake given tasks.
• Possess the ability to work under pressure.
