Job summary

BardWood is seeking an Area Support Officer to provide security across client premises and retail sites around Peterborough. You will patrol, monitor access, and respond to incidents while traveling between sites as required.

The role demands a valid SIA DS licence, a driver with your own vehicle, and willingness to work day, night, and weekends. Training and support will be provided as you transfer to a permanent role after 12 weeks, with benefits including cycles to work, private medical

Qualifications

• Must hold a valid SIA Door Supervisor (DS) licence.
• Must be a driver with access to their own vehicle.
• Must be willing to travel reasonable distances as required by the business.
• Must be willing to work within retail environments.
• Must be flexible and understand that they may also be assigned to other duties and contracts where required.
• 5-year checkable work/career history.
• Physically fit to undertake given tasks.
• Possess the ability to work under pressure.

Responsibilities

• Provide security support across various client premises and retail sites.
• Carry out regular patrols and maintain a strong security presence.
• Provide cover at different sites as required by the business.
• Monitor access and egress and respond to incidents appropriately.
• Communicate professionally with staff, visitors and clients.
• Complete accurate incident reports and follow ASCONE/SAFER procedures.
• Respond confidently to emergencies and elevate issues when required.
• Travel between sites and support other duties as required.

Pay Rate – £12.71

Location – Peterborough

Shift Timings – Must be available to workboth day and night shifts, including weekends, and be willing to travel reasonable distances as required.
